This weekend at Northbrook I will be giving a message entitled "What if it's not easy?". Let's be honest life is not easy. If we look to our faith we find at its core a cross. R. Somerset ward said it best:
“When all around the air is full of vague rumors of newfound faith which is free of effort and tolerant of everything save toil and pain, it is time to speak out boldly and say that true Christianity is the most costly possession in the world, that still knows but one road, which leads over Calvary, and still ! has but one symbol, which is the cross”
